enCloud are happy to announce the go live of another successful project with the launch of the Go Logistics website.
Go logistics are a Sydney based logistics company who service over 2500 loyal clients’ needs to deliver time critical freight such as perishables, medical supplies and industrial equipment throughout Australia. Go Logistics has invested heavily in technology for their internal management systems and need their web presence to open up these benefits to their customers.
This powerful business portal built around the Joomla CMS framework and utilising HTML5, and custom PHP modules is a mobile optimised tool that allows its customers to manage all aspects of their freight and logistics requirements.
High in functionality the site includes a complex custom PHP freight coupon calculator, parcel tracking tool and client login area with seamless integration to their “hub systems” freight management application. The site also hosts a wealth of downloadable forms and resources.
Aesthetically Go Logistics wanted a major departure from their previous basic white website for a darker, bolder more professional look and feel, while illustrating their customer focused service and the size and capability of their fleet. This was achieved using some purpose created images and time lapse video (View The Video Here) which have been very well received, the effectiveness of this media reinforces the value of creating your own artwork to deliver your messages rather than trying to manipulate stock photography to fit your concepts. This extra effort and investment makes a world of difference and adds a more professional and individual element and proves “a good picture is worth a thousand words.”
As much as the client loved the new look of the site, its primary function is that as a tool for their customers and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers using the site is the only measure of success that really matters.
